"The military does not expect a man or a woman to remain celebate when in combat or overseas for a year but they damn well expect their spouces to."
What?!?! News to me! On all of my deployments they sure as hell gave a damn about it, and in fact sexual relationships, even between married couples whilst deployed, are subject to non-judicial punishment. Does being in the military give me "the urge to have sex more?" No, it does not. If anything, when you work closely with men frequently, it diminishes the "allure" or "mystique" of the Male, and perhaps it is just as I have gotten a bit older, but no longer is it enough that a cute boy is giving me attention- now I require a man to be highly compatible to me before I will even consider a first date... much less anything physical. I'd say that for me, my experiences in the military have increased my confidence to a level at which I am not afraid to be alone, nor do I fear not getting a date. Thus, my expectations and standards have been raised considerably since joining the military, and with this I have gained a greater respect for myself and no longer behave in a manner which retrospectively (as a civilian) could only be called slutty.

Fair Question and deserves a fair answer instead of just the Bull crap I see from above.
Relief from a combat situation is an intensly emotional feeling and closeness of sexs' is best emotionally expressed by how?
First off lets bring the equation back into civilian life, where the opportunity to have sex more than once a day , with multiple partners is already ongoing so being in service probably would not make a whole heck of a lot of difference except walking distance and cost, military clubs have cheap liquor.
Try looking up some things such as sports medicine for women, and especially note the physical and hormonal changes.
Entering the service you will encounter a cultural change, a degrading change mostly, break you down and build you up.
Emotional changes happen even in men. Strenuous accomplishments lead to emotional highs and hormonal releases but nowhere near as drastic or as intensive increase as after facing an emotional crisis such as combat and finding yourself still alive.
The facts behind this elation after life or death situation are well known, ask a nurse, a medic upon saving and sometimes from losing a patient.
Sorry military "mam" but who we fooling, if your fella finds himslelf coming out alive after fighting an enemy he is first elated to be alive and then horny as all get out. I hope you have a fine marriage and as strong as any marriage is depends upon the two becoming one as it has been for , well as it is supposed to be.
The military does not expect a man or a woman to remain celebate when in combat or overseas for a year but they damn well expect their spouces to.
Actually they don't give a darn just keep it hidden is all.
Reason they originally gave miltary wives a paycheck is to keep the sexual drives of their men in line and not cause too much trouble off of base.
One of best hiden aspects of warfare is the amounts of rape commited by our military men while overseas. In Korean War it was estiated as many as 250 Korean woemn were raped daily by our militry forces. Rape in vietnam , from my experience and from acquaintences higher than that a lot higher even eith the military helping supply enough bar girls to damper the fires lets say.
I see no reason a womans sexual desie would lessen in any way while in military but do see many ways it will increase.

I say the ones that are sluts in are also the ones that would be sluts out. I know many females on this base that sleep with waaaay too many people. For some reason I think it makes them feel better about themselves, maybe because no one likes them but all these guys want to sleep with them. You will not get in trouble for sleeping with someone as long as they are not of a much higher or lower rank and are not married. So really that does not encourage girls & guys to not do it.

Why the He** can't you for once show a little respect for people who are out there fighting for you! I'm sure that being on the front lines makes one more concerned about staying alive and NOT sex, to try to keep from dying you ditz!!
Get your mind out of the gutter.

No. Sorry, but the idea is absurd. You can get in a LOT of trouble, get NJPed(nonjudicial punishment) or even court marshaled. There is actual a lot of pressure on both men and women to NOT mess around

Girls will be girls and boys will be boys when nature calls. No matter who you are or where you are, we all need someone close to us once in awhile.

yes becuase girls in the military are more sluts than in the regular world because they are trying to further their carreers by spreading their legs in hope of promotions.
