Yes...
At work, they make them with corn flakes, cocoa puffs, oat bran cereal, fruit loops...
I've tried their variations. Personally, I like the original better. The others aren't terrible, just different. They did make one where they threw in chocolate chips. That was good.

I've used Cocoa Krispies with Reece's pieces and I have used Golden Grahams too. They have always been a hit. You may have to adjust the amount of cereal though depending on its size. A piece of Golden Graham is much bigger than a Rice Krispie. Not a big deal, just watch that you don't add too much cereal and it becomes dry.

I have used the bags of cocoa pebbles (the malt-o-meal brand...cheap stuff)...and my family really liked that. I imagine that since cocoa pebbles worked, cocoa krispies would taste good also...if you want the same texture as the rice krispie treats than that would probably be the way you would want to go. But the cocoa pebbles are really good instead of krispies!

Yup - I've used Cocoa Pebbles - I like those than the Cocoa Krispies.
I know they are virtually the same thing, but I like the flat ones better than the puffy ones. LOL

YES! Coco pebbles or fruity pebbles can be used with great success. they are just like rice krispies only flavored.

Yes, but the coating won't cover as much as some cereal, so for example if you use corn flakes, you have to crush them a bit.

Yes, any puffed cereal will work, e.g. puffed wheat. You could try adding dried fruit and nuts for something different too.
