A CT scan cannot show up mental health problems unless a physical abnormality (such as a growth) is the cause. Blood tests, cerebral fluid tests and phyclogical analysis are much more likely to help a diagnosis be found.

If you have already had 2 CT scans of your brain I would recommend talking to your doctor about alternatives. Is your doctor aware that you have already had 2 CT scans? Maybe you could get an MRI instead which does not irradiate you? The irradiation you suffer from a CT scan (or x-ray) is cumulative throughout your life meaning that each time you get a CT scan you are increasing the likelihood of cancer. The brain in particular is sensitive to CT scans and especially in children physicians are becoming more reticent to order CT scans unless they think it is REALLY needed.

No. A CT scan just shows structure of the brain and cannot diagnose a psychiatric disease or personality disorder.

I doubt it very very much. CT is sometimes called the anatomy scan in contrast to MRI- which shows anatomical and functional images. You curerently will never be diagnosed as having one of the above "also" based on CT scans.
CT can measure volumes/sizes of brain structures- and cerebral blood flow (using constrast solution) but not neuron activity.
CT is gradually combining with PET (which gives great functional info.) Watch out for this combination!

Schrizophrenia is caused by too much chemical called dopamine on the nerve receptors. Strangely it is opposite to Parkinsons disease where there is not enough dopamine. If a person with schrizophrenia takes an excess of his prescribed tablets he may suffer the symptons of Parkinsons with body twitches. To my knowledge a brain scan is not used in diagnosis although a schrizophrenic who was hearing voices were registered in the brain auditary area during a scan.

This is unsubstantiated as i have never researched it, but just the other day my friend was telling me that when you have a cat scan you have to sign a disclaimer advising you can be handed over to the authorities if they find a shadow or something similar over your frontal lob as this actually indicates you have psychopathic tendencies. Like i said i don't know if there is any truth in this but it is interesting.

i think so. a theory of the causes of disorders is either not enough or an excess of a brain chemical so i'd guess that that would show up. Chemicals like dopamine are usually associated with mental disorders

I think so, as depression is associated with low levels of seratonin in the brain, probably the same for personality disorders............
