Hi All,

I need to hire several MDs as advisors. Several of my clients are facing complex medical decisions and would liek to pay for an unbiased advisor. The doctors and the insurance companies they deal with have a bias so they are looking for a third party source that can give proper advice. Do you think there are ex-doctors out there that are willing to do this for a fee ? If so how much would they charge per hour ? I need experts in geriatrics, oncology, neurology.

thnx

theo

I'm sure there R retired doctors that do this. @ find them I suggest U run Google search @ find the specialist in Ur area. U could go 2 http://www.411.com 2 get their #'s. The cost will vary greatly, specialist R always more expensive. With the site I posted 4 U, U will be able 2 get their prices. It's not going 2 be cheap. When I was seeing a neurologist his office visit was $115. I hope this helps U

They have an hourly fee and they are probably a bit different. The hourly fee is what they will charge. My ex is a doc and he charged something like $300/hr for appearances in court as corroborating expert. Prep time/research is also charged for.

Most insurance companies will cover the cost of this vaccine. all you have to do is make an appt. with a nurse and they will bill it as an immunization. Adult/Child. Most placs where I live charge an average of 20.00. Last year I went and paid the 20.00 each for my daughter and myself, only to find out insurace covers it... I was able to fax them my receipts and get reimbursed. You should check with your insurace company before paying anything. 49.00 is a rip!
