I'm starting to think that I'm never gonna get married. I haven't had a serious relationship in 6 years. All the men I've dated end up being not interested in me after a few weeks. I don't think I come off as desperate---I have my own life, friends (most of my friends are men) and interests. When should I just throw in the towel and resign myself to the fact that i will never find "the one"? I know the standard advice is, "love will find you when you least expect it." But what does that mean? Like when I'm waiting for the bus or something? I am looking into male order husbands....I know what the standard answers will be, find someone with common interests, look on the internet, blah blah. Tried all that. I mostly just wrote this to vent! Thanks for any funny, original answers!

Age is in your mind. An attitude. Oh yeah, it does help if you look young for your age.
What you think does matter! How you value it is how it is. Give up on trying to find "true Love" and be open to the possible finding of a true friend.
Love comes and goes and changes. Friendship remains and grows with Love.
If friendship happens to grow into love then it is real.
Relationships can block and burden you with too many boundaries when pushed into a boyfriend -girlfriend situation too soon before a friendship is established.
So yeah, give up on what you IDEAListicy think you want and be open to what IS.

No way! 32 is so young. You're still a baby... If you're not settled down yet it means that you're a little picky and that's o.k. It's a good thing. Why should you settle for any old thing. Just keep a positive attitude and love will come your way. Even if it doesn't, that's O.K. too. There are some great perks to being single as well.

Girl, never give up.
I just broke up with my boyfriend of 7 1/2 years and I'll be 30 this year. I'm afraid I'll be alone for the rest of my life, but I know we'll both find someone. Just keep looking and trying. Don't fret!

I can relate. I'm 46 and I have pretty much given up hope that anything is ever going to happen. I've had my share of girlfriends in the past but now it just seems like a big waste of time even trying. I won't tell you to quit trying, but I can say for me, if it happens it happens....I'm just not holding my breath.

You can't throw the towel, My cousin met the real love when she was 36, now she is married to him and really happy. I know you will find the correct person for you because he is waiting for you, too.

Keep looking. Don't ever give up on true love. Everyone deserves "the one." I was with girls for 9 years and then I found my one...a guy. You really never know.
