There is a verse in the Quran [5:72] that says that Christians (who believe that Jesus is the son of God) are considered infidels and they will go to hell.

Is there verses in the bible that tell that people of any other religions will also go to hell?

2:62 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Are there any verses in the Bible that tell that people of any other religions, and any people who do good regardless of religion will also go to heaven?

Here we are !

So finally we are making it all clear to ourselves. We are trying to find mutual abuse in religions which is very much there. All religions are supposed to uphold their own theories, so no wonder if they belittle other theories of other religions !

If Islam was to accept what Christianity had to say, then why was Islam to become a separate religion. If Christianity had to agree with what Islam had to say, then why did Christianity come into existance. The same irony applies to all other religions.

So understand this - We have created different religions to bring about different versions of God and thereby - whether you accept or not - we try to prove other Gods wrong. We talk about Heaven and Hell as if we have been there several times. We speak for God as if we have known him !

Take a break people and come out of this sickening practice of following a religion. You can be more happy about God if you try to see him without sticking to any religion.

I would not be surprised to hear some strong obejections to what I have said, nor to receive several thumbs-down responses.

Interesting question. This is a people perverting the message kind of problem - faced with the question "Why should I follow this religion - that one over there is more fun and you still get to heaven" (which incidentally expains the popularity of Buddhism to westerners who are entirely ill-suited to it), the temptation for leaders is the carrot-and-stick approach - WE will get to heaven, THEY will go to hell. Pretty sound theology and impossible to prove.
As a Christian (as opposed to Jewish), the Old Testament is not binding on me (thank you Lord!). Jesus says that those who follow him will come to his father but is not specific about other faiths EXCEPT to say "There are many rooms in my fathers house. If this was not so I would have told you" when a bit hacked off with somebody hoping for more exclusivity.
Cheers, Steve.
PS I can also ignore that rubbish about gays etc. What a relief!

Nope - the two your claims are fake. in basic terms some Christians have self assurance Jesus to be divine and in basic terms some Jews have self assurance Ezra to be divine. Osama and Theresa weren't nicely difficulty-free by the folk yet human beings in basic terms be attentive to a sprint nevertheless the media - maximum of that's doctored besides. (3:113-a hundred and fifteen) not all of them are alike: of the folk of the e book are a element that stand (for the marvelous); they rehearse the signs and indications of Allah all night long and then prostrate themselves in adoration. they think in Allah and the final Day; they enjoin what's powerful and forbid what's incorrect; and that they (hasten in emulation) in (all) solid works; they're interior the ranks of the righteous. Of the solid that they don't something would be rejected of them; for Allah knoweth nicely those that do suited. In Islam, solid deeds not non secular concept is the yardstick for heaven or hell. (2:111-112) and that they are asserting: "None shall enter paradise till he be a Jew or a Christian." those are their (ineffective) desires. Say: "Produce your information if ye are honest." Nay whoever submits his finished self to Allah and is a doer of sturdy he gets his advantages together with his Lord; on such would be no concern nor shall they grieve.

In 1-3 John it writes that those who deny Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God are of the Antichrist spirit.

The Antichrist is going to hell.

Antichrist happens when some one is told the good news of Gods Saving Grace correctly and the God Is presently truly revealed, and person rebels against the Truth of God. And if one calls the Holy Spirit evil, person is blaspheming the Holy Ghost and this isn't forgiven ever.

Person has to come to a place of conviction & repent of resisting the Holy Ghost. And confess Jesus Christ Lord & Savior and believe in ones heart Jesus shed His Own Blood for remission of ones sins and raised from the dead for ones justification.

To correct some other answers.
It is written that those who deny Jesus Christ, Jesus will deny before the Father and Holy Angels.

So, one has to be reveal spiritually who Jesus Is and then deny Jesus to go to hell. I believe the rest who didn't deny Christ or confess Jesus Christ Lord, because they didn't hear the good news, will go to a place of rest until the Great White Throne Judgment Day (the last resurrection), because their knowing sins weren't atoned for. (Only those redeemed by the blood of the Lamb are part of the 1st resurrection). Babies & children under age of accountability go to heaven. Because they didn't knowingly rebel against God, instead love God in their spirits.

Quran 3:199
"And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book [Jews and Christians], those who believe in God, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to God: They will not sell the Signs of God for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and God is swift in account.
Quran 3;113-144
"Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book [Jews and Christians] are a portion that stand (For the right): They rehearse the Signs of God all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration. They believe in God and the Last Day; they enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; and they hasten (in emulation) in (all) good works: They are in the ranks of the righteous.

The best amongst you are those who have the best manners and character.' (Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 759)..this verse is for all humen !

Please read these verses and judge yourself what quran says about non-muslims !!

Peace !

More or less every Religion seems to regard followers of every other Religion with special hatred... (except maybe Buddhists)... and there is almost always something in their 'Holy book' that tells them how to express that hatred.

The Quran does seem to be rather extreme in this respect - perhaps it is because it was one of the last Religions to be invented during the middle ages when life was hard, brutal & short ... and no-one expected the Spanish Inquisition ....

the verse is very clear, it says : 5:[72] Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allâh is the Messiah ('Isâ (Jesus)) son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ('Isâ (Jesus)) said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allâh, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allâh, then Allâh has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) there are no helpers.
So, the verse didn't mention the christiants but those who says that Allah is the Messiah ('Isâ (Jesus)) son of Maryam (Mary).
And just if all the christiants beleives in that, then you can say the verse mentioning them. And at that time they have to proof that Juesus or the Bible has ordered them to say that and if they didn't proof it then no one can consider this verse ment the cristiants.

I am not of the Muslim Faith and I think that The Quoran may have been misinterpreted at a time when Christianity and Islam were purely political entities during The16th Century. If we want peace we need to recognise it is now a different more tolerant society.

I don't care about verses here there and everywhere actually. I reckon you can get bogged down sometimes. By the way Salahudin, you are right, there IS only one God but it is not Allah. You say Allah is worshipped by Muslims, Christians and Jews. I am offended by that. I believe in the Trinity.
