okay, here's the deal. a good religion would say that everybody is the same in the eye of God. So IF, everybody is actually the same, why would it matter if someone marries a person who's from different race??

Some religions say you shouldn't marry someone of a different faith. No holy text as far as I know says anything about interracial marriage. It is a cultural thing.

This is one of the many things that captured my appreciation when I first became aware of what came to be my religion. I am one of Jehovah's Christian Witnesses. We firmly believe the scriptural teachings that we are all of one race - the human race.
I have found more interracial marriages among the 98,000 or so congregations of Witnesses than in any other professed Christian religion. Whites marry blacks, blacks marry Asians, Asians marry Hispanics, Palestinians marry Jews. It is just as Jehovah God intended - for his human children to love each other.

In Catholicism there is no view on interracial marriage. There is only one race, the human race, and any couple can marry with the blessing of God's Church. Ethnic labels are irrelevant.

I'm Christian, but I can't speak for everybody in the whole religion. I can only speak for me. I think interracial marriages and relationships may be the first step toward racial harmony and erasing racial lines.

Jehovah's Witnesses believe members of the human race should only marry other members of the human race, of the opposite gender..
We do teach that it is better to follow the Biblical admonition to "marry only in the Lord" and to "not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers" regardless of ethnic or national heritage.
Our God Jehovah is not partial but accepts people of all backgrounds. - Acts 10:34, 35.

I'm a Pagan, and race doesn't factor into marriage by my beliefs. I believe that we are accountable for who we choose to support, though, and since support of a spouse is essential it's imperative not to marry a monster. Other than that, all that matters in marriage is commitment.
