yes you can, but sometimes you can´t track because Ordinary Letter Post and Global Priority items do not offer tracking or tracing as part of the service.

If you sent it via a postage option that includes tracking or delivery confirmation, the tracking number is on the receipt the post office gave you. If you used a shipping option that included either of those features, look for your receipt to find the tracking number. If you opted for a cheaper option like parcel post, there won't be one, as the feature is extra. In that case, I hope that you opted for the shipping insurance, as that may be the only way you can recoup your loss. You'll probably have to wait the minimum to make a lost package claim (I don't know what it is, so you'll have to ask the post office). You may want to ask the post office about the shipping costs too. The way I figure it, if the package got lost, they obviously didn't provide the service you paid for. You will probably also need to provide supporting documentation. If you didn't spring for shipping insurance either, feel free to kick yourself repeatedly. It's only a few dollars, and for a package worth that much, I can't imagine sending it out without at least shipping insurance.
