As a matter of fact, I enticed my husband of 18 years just that way. He loves my cooking to this day and is somewhat larger than he was 18 years ago. Following recipes is quite easy and proves to be successful after all is said and done and even my MIL has expressed delight over some of my trial run meals. Practice makes perfect so keep it up cause it can only get better if you're new at cooking. You'll be pleased to see it in your hard work.

well I have cooked for many many friends and family. My cooking got me my first two ex-wives. ANd my current wife is still just amazed that a man can could anything besides barbque or grilling. But what impressed her the most is that I was able to blend the ethnic foods she grewup on with the ethnic foods I grew up on and threw a feast for both of our familys one weekend and no one went away hungry or empty handed! And now I have to do 90% of the household cooking.

Sure I have. Start with cooking something and bringing it to work. They will usually eat anything and it will give you confidence to keep trying new things. If you have good friends at work they'll tell you how you did. The items with the most raves will surely impress any guest at home!

Yes I have. Keep in mind if you're going to try and impress someone, it doesn't have to be a gourmet meal, in fact it can be as simple as as meat and potatoes, it's just gotta taste really good. The simple fact that you cooked something for someone special to you goes a long way in its self.

Yes, my husband's family when we were still dating. They were very impressed and I always get called for recipes and new members to the family get told that I'm the one to call if you have any questions about cooking.

Try as a may, no one, and I mean no one has ever been impressed with my cooking. Very sad!

I've cooked for my boyfriend about three times and he's been impressed each time. I enjoy doing it - it's something we share and it makes him happy.

I've made him grilled porkchops with Provencal seasoning, chicken pot pie, bacon wrapped filet mignon, and pizella ice cream sandwiches with Nutella.

I plan on making him something really special for Valentine's Day.

Hope that helps!

Myself for a start. Still waiting...

Friends. They're still waiting...

Family. Nope. Love them too much to subject them yet.

Still love the concept of cooking for myself and others though. Haven't given up.

I can flip pancakes though. Quite proud of that!
