My religion tells me to be loving and kind.

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self Control are the fruits of the spirit of God.

Tolerance is not one of them. That is a trick of the World. No! We are called to go into the world and preach the Gospel of Christ and to have an answer for what we believe but to do so with gentleness and respect. If our message convicts someone of their sin, then so be it. If we tolerated everything and said nothing against the sin that is in the world then sin would flourish all the more than it is today.

i recognize each body, even those who do not percentage my beliefs. I also love good judgment. good judgment states that 2 conficting issues can not be authentic interior a similar way together, so if i'm proper, which i have self assurance i'm, then different religions can not be. No the position no time, have I ever reported i should be tolerant of different religions, in hardship-free words that i ought to behaive myself with appreciate and be 'smart' adequate now to not be intollerant. yet i'm definatly not tolerant contained in the way that i imagine each body is sweet, it really is purely defying good judgment. The word 'Islam' translates to 'Peace and Safety'. Personally I strive to be tolerant towards all of humanity, despite the bad name that most people apply to all Muslims for the actions of our brethren in the Middle East.

Depends on your definition of tolerance. The Bible teaches us to love everyone, including our enemies. But, it also tells us to call sin sin. Most people consider that intolerant. I don't. God says things are sin, I can't argue with Him and tell people that it's ok.

If I truly believe my God, and want to love people in obedience to His commands, that means telling them when they're in sin and helping them get out of it if they want to. Love is to do what you can to save their eternal soul. It doesn't mean to beat them over the head and just tell them they're going to hell. It's to tell them in love and out of concern for their life.
