I think it's a great way for them to keep up with their friends and show people what they are like. I have a 14 year old daughter, and I monitor her site and friends' sites to keep up with what is going on in their world. Sometimes they go overboard with the curse words - but let's face it, they're saying them when we're not around anyway. They're learning to express themselves. So, to answer your question, I don't have a problem with it.

I'm 25. Have been a member of Myspace since 2003. before, there weren't so many kids. Now it seems taht is all there. I think Myspace should def screen them before accepting them. I heard on the news they are going to start doing that. There is too much of a potential of children getting hurt by giving out all their information (i.e. pedophiles).

Steps need to be taken for kids on Myspace. It's a great place for people and friends to keep in touch but there should be safe gaurds to protect the kids.

My kids are under 11 so they have no my space account, and they have never mentioned wanting one, thank the Lord. But my best friend's 14 yr. old daughter HAD one, and she put pics of herself on there and was lying about her age. Her mother/father made her take off the pics/lies and now they closely monitor it. But in my opionion she shouldn't have been allowed on it at all in the first place. I have heard too many horror stories about children being abducted/molested by people they met on that site and I don't trust it.

I think that adults go crazy over nothing.my space isn't that bad compared to all the stuff that we kids do today, but yes my space dose have a few bad quality's .I think that kids under 12 should not be allowed to go on and that there shouldn't allow adult content on the web site (like they are all ready doing).

I never go on that site. My 25 year old daughter shows me items from it. If I had a child under 16 they would not be allowed to use. That's just how I am. Others might think differently.

Nothing is wrong with having it. Just don't like that they send alot of personal stuff across it. I mean they should have a place to talk to kids their own age but more security needs to be there in order for me to not mind kids using it

i believe that if they are over the age of 16 they should have it BUT the time spent in it should be limited or supervised by a parent/guardian. Those who are younger then that HELL NO. they dont need to advertise any negative things to others
