Wouldn't it be nice if just once he would use his oil money instead? How much has his net worth increased since he came into office? I can tell you how much more I pay at the pump.

Bush is protecting his oil interests in the gulf and that takes money. Besides Chaneys company Halburton is getting the clean up money and they only have two more years to become billionaires. So even though the troops have to take up a collection for toothpaste and spaghettos. Those guys are getting rich. What is the difference it is only costing the lives of a few poor guys from the rurals. Probably wouldn't have paid much in taxes during their life anyway. As longs as the slaves keeps the masters rich. That is what matters.

Don't worry, the left will win we gut the military, you then can take the Billions for social programs that never fix anything but the continuation of the social program. But we all feel better for we raise taxes. Then when we need the military (For terrorism is now again on our soil) we can complain that why they don't have the tools to do their job........Don't laugh 08 is coming.

400 billion, and no end in sight.
This is an outrage.
The entire world combined does not spend nowhere near what the USA is spending on the military. Just as an example. Russia's annual military budget is only 5 billion. China's annual military budget is only 7 Billion. It is insanity, sheer insanity.

Then another question for you would be, how much is a life, whether it be Iraqi or American, worth to you? Should we pull out and let the innocent die, because in the end that is who will die? Should we stay, at the cost of more American lives, to ensure innocence is not lost in savagery? Each person has to look into a deeper meaning of what it is to stay in Iraq than just how much its going to cost.

It's worth it.
Our economy produces $13 trillion annually, our federal debt is shrinking, our federal tax revenues are growing despite lower taxes, and even our trade deficit is shrinking now.
I'd say Bush already paid for the war by being smart.
(Numbers don't lie.)

Actually, it's called recycling stories. The press does it to fuel headlines, or fill gaps when nothing is happening.
