The strength and weight of your leg, and the speed and angle at which you kick are the formula that makes up a power roundhouse.
Let's assume you want to kick to the head. Do these exercises each day.
1) put on some socks, find a smooth floor and practice your splits. Go as far as you can and hold for about two minutes, three sets every other day. Don't go too far! If it hurts, stop. This will increase your flexibility and give you less resistance in your kicks. Do about 20 round kicks each leg at waist level and 100 jumping jacks before doing this stretch so that you're good and warmed up.
2) Do squats. Three sets of 10 once on Monday, once on Friday
3) right after the squats, do leg extensions, three sets of ten, same days at squats. use as much weight as you can without hurting yourself.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays strap on light ankle weights (5 lbs is fine) and get a heavy bag. 30 kicks each leg at thigh height, then waist height, then head height.
Kicking form is really important. Chamber your knee as high as you can, then pivot on the base leg. Pivot hard until your toes are pointed behind you and your body is sideways to the target. Let your kicking knee actually pass the target slightly, and then whip your kick out as quickly and explosively as you can. When you hit the target, hit through it, letting your foot sink in.
Remember, impact is mass x velocity squared. The velocity of your kick is paramount, so really work on that leg speed. The weights should help.
Angle is critical too. A strike has to go in a straight line from point of entry to end point. So if you are kicking someone in the head, your foot has to clear the left shoulder, kick straight across the plane of the shoulders, and exit on the other side of the head. That is the kind of kick that crushes an opponent.
Want to see it done right? Do a youtube search on Mirko Cro-Cop. His leg strength is phenomenal, and his kicking form is just how I describe it above.
Have fun!

Do NOT...put ankle weights on....it will screw up your form/joints and lord knows what else
Practice is always a good way to go
Improving on your balance..strength in your anchor/pivot leg is also a good way to go
The practice method involves throwing the kick from various positions....front leg/back leg....multi kicking........just what it sounds like...practice the technique
Strengthening the pivot leg on the other hand involves Squats(preferably all the wayy down and one legged if you can)....that will strengthen the quad/hip region
Strengthen the calfs and the glutes for extra push

It is said: 'Better late than never'. There is no time bar for learning anything. Do the following: 1. Buy 'Rapidex English Speaking Course' from any of the book stalls. 2. Buy a bilingual English Dictionary. U can also buy a Collins pocket dictionary to carry with you always. 3. Buy a simple English Grammar book. 4. Keep a note book handy to write down difficult words and their meaning for revision. 5. Whenever u find an opportunity, start conversation in English with friends and others. 6. Start reading English novels, news papers, magazines etc., All the best.

Try this... Put some ankle weights on and when practicing your round kick center your balance and pivot at the last moment, But be careful not to strain your muscles, so stretch first.
