You can TELL a tree to get up and plant it in the ocean, but only if Allah wills it to happen will it actually occur, no matter how great your faith is.

The example that Jesus gave in the Bible of being able to move mountains with faith is allegorical. Great faith can do the seemingly impossible, while little faith can do almost nothing. there would be no spiritual purpose to literally moving an actual mountain by faith, but there would be great spiritual success if one man were to moving a mountain of people to Christ. This, of course, as actually been done wherein one man has actually transformed an entire nation or continent by leading the people to Christ.

That statement is true but needs to be taken with a biblical interpretation of the word "faith" . The most accurate biblical definition of the word faith is "visualizing what God is intending to do." When you have that kind of faith you can know what God is going to do and so pray accurately. Faith in the Bible is never presented as mind over matter, and the idea that if you believe something hard enough you can cause it to happen is a humanistic concept of faith and not a biblical one.

Not when I should. I know it God ALL things are possible.
I met some seminary students in Nigeria that read the scripture about casting a mountain into the sea. And in Faith they told the mountain to be cast in to the sea and the very next day dump trucks came and started hauling dirt away. The mountain is gone.

faith does not make you God ; only God can do that ; faith is to know and accept the existence of God and his love; he will reward far greater that your simplistic thought of a tree uprooting itself and planting in the ocean; hasn't he shown you more than that already; we can't figure out what he has given us so far in the world and in our bodies therefore we can't even imagine what he will give us thereafter; we are way too limited, your question in point.

If you know the God of the universe, you will know for sure that you can't do anything! But He can do amazing in and through us if He so wills to do. God can do anything. Doesn't mean you can or will get to.
Why would you like to do this anyways? That's the real question I think. Is it so that you might have fame and glory? If so, then it's for the wrong reason. If it's for God's glory alone then you might be on the right track. So ask yourself why you would want to be able to do this.

Faith is an excellent thing, but I wouldn't try flying from a 15th floor ledge if I were you.

I have faith, but I struggle daily. Is a ever growing process. Jesus says I can, but I guess I don't know how to take advantage of it.
