Being a good ol' southern boy, I have my own opinion about this, but I just want to see what ya'll think.

Rednecks are usually 1. patriotic-which means they will buy american beer. This leads to either of the two US beer giants Coors or Budwieser. The other quality more rednecks share is 2. they don't have that much money. Although Bud and Coors aren't that expensive, I would guess PBR (Pasbt Blue Ribbon) and Shlitz as two beers within the price range of a redneck. I grew up with redneck and I also remember them wanting to get wasted as fast and as cheap as they could, which left them with malt liquor 40 oz.s. This is typically stereotyped as a black or gangbanger drink, but anyone who wants to get drunk fast and cheap resorts to a 40 of St. Ides or Colt 45.

All the redneck bars I've been to serve Bud and that's it. So I'll say Bud.
Depending on the location, some also have PBR served there. I've only seen redneck 20 somethings drink pabst though.

PBR or Busch. Have you ever noticed when driving out in the country those are usually the cans you see littering the side of the road? That must say something about the drinkers!
