For some reason with Bulldogs, the more white there is the more valuable they are supposed to be. I personally would look more to the personality (which is usually great with a Bulldog) and health. Enjoy and love her. Please talk to professionals before you consider breeding her. They have very difficult deliveries, usually having to have c-sections.

The only reason ANY dog could be worth a lot of money is to look at the sire and dame - they would have to be the most amazing dogs and #1 in anything and everything. If the *breeder* says you have a rare puppy or you are getting a great discount, they're b.s.-ing you and just need a home for the puppy, wanting you to feel like you got something *special*. Just enjoy your puppy, give her a LOT of social interaction and regular vet visits and spay by 6 months.

Because they are very expensive to breed and usually only have 2-3 puppies. They are bred by artificial insemination and have to have C-sections, it could easily cost 3-$4000 to breed a litter. They are also a breed with many hereditary health problems so it is a good idea to get one from a good breeder who health tests her stock, even if it does cost more initially it will cost you less in Vet bills later on.

Bulldogs in general are an expensive breed just to breed them (all deliveries require a c-section, as bulldogs are unable to deliver on their own) and so the puppies often reflect that.

Because they are a genetically designed breed.
Quite often the mum dogs have to undergo a c-section birth because they are not built to reproduce multiple times, but because they are so popular, bad breeders will breed their bi^&ches multiple times.
They are a great dog, but selectively bred for aestheics.

The reason, from what I was told, is that whelping is very difficult for the breed. What they usually have to do is give the ***** a C-section. It tends to get very expensive for the breeder.
