I got married at 18, 23, and 32. No kids yet. I never planned to get married at a particular age, things just worked out this way. If I were you, I would start looking while you're still in your 20s, then you would probably be married in your 30s. Took me 4 years of full-time dating to find the person I am married to now.

I will be 24 when I get married and don't plan on having kids for 5 years. This gives a few years to just be together and just enjoy being a couple. It will also give me time to start a career. And 30 is not too late to get married and still have kids (even wait to have kids)!

Well, I was 21 when I got married, and 23 and 27 respectively when I had my children. But that was what was right for me. I think the right age to get married is when you're emotionally, and financially secure enough to support yourself AND a family. When you're prepared for the possibility of getting pregnant sooner than you expected. When you're no longer dependant upon your parents for support other than the occasional moral support. For some people that's in their 20's, other's 30's, and still others....NEVER.

When you stop typing a "u" to mean "you". Get married whenever you are ready and find the right person. That's the key. Anyone can marry just anyone to say they are married, but they'll ultimately end up in divorce. If you say you'll wait until your 30's, you could very well pass up the man that's meant for you because you found him at 24 - you see? NOone can tell you when it's right - when it's right, you'll just know it.

Your friends are wrong - and they have very narrow horizons.

I'm 38, never married and no kids. And I'm not the only person like that - a lot of people put off marrying and having kids until they're personally and professionally stable.

For guys, we can wait as long as we want, because men can still father kids in their 80's. For girls, they can have kids as late as 45 (one lady in England had her first kid at 64!).

So don't rush out and have a kid - live your life before you bring another life into this world!!!

I got married when I was 26 .Thinks 26-29 yrs is a good time .

have kids it best to get married first that you can enjoy your life as a married couple . and then have kids. Thinks the early the better.

Thanks

There is no right answer. Some people have kids at a young age (like myself) in order to still have some youth left when the kids are gone. Others like to push back having a family so they can spend thier youth on either partying, etc. or pushing for a career. It boils down to what you want out of life. Good luck.

I got married at 22. We don't have children.

Legally you can get married at 18 w/o any hassle, but in general most people get married in their 20's.

I think mid 20's to get married and late 20's to have kids.
