I agree. I come into this category because I like answering & discussing the real, heartfelt answers. But too often there are people who are just trying to hurt other people. I think it's so interesting that our society tries to take God out of everything, claiming that He's not real, or not a big deal. If He wasn't such a big deal, why do discussions about Him make some people so angry? I think it's because those people, deep down, actually believe He's the Truth, but they don't want to! People who REALLY don't believe and could care less don't waste their time trying to aruge and offend others... My opinion.

The majority of people are angry because they don't like people disagreeing with them and respond by being hateful. And I'm talking to all the people who insult and hurt others who don't believe in a higher power.

We're trying to SAVE you from your delusion by spreading The Word of reason and rationality. Before it's too late. You should be thanking us, not being hateful towards us.

I also feel that most people on here are angry..I feel that they can't believe in the higher power and are somehow afraid...they put down other people to make them feel higher up or somehow better than all the believers..

People are angry because life is hard. It really is.

Some people direct their anger about how hard life is in different ways. For myself, I channel it into trying to understand the mystery of all that is.

Others look for a scapegoat for their anger. Religion's as good a one as any - for those who are atheists, who better to get angry at than a deity, and those who believe in that deity, if you feel that some deity, or fate in general, has shortchanged you?

And for those who are religious, who better to blame for the poor condition the world seems to be in than those who seem to advocate for all that you find wrong about it?

Better to study the very mystery that is being alive, and to find the joy in every transcendent moment. Better to let anger wash away with the rain, than to simply reflect it like a mirror.

That's not the case at all!

Those who believe in a higher power just get upset when we ask certain types of questions.

The better question is Why are believers in a higher power so sensitive?

I can tell you exactly why I have some anger torwards Christians. Your culture killed my culture for 1700 years. You persecuted us throughout history. We get treated well in the US for 100 years and we're expected to forget all about it. I love this country. I love this country because it protects me from you. I look at Pat Robertson and know how many of you are still evil, twisted, bigoted, judgemental, people. Is that enough of a reason to be angry?

I'm not angry. In fact, things are going pretty well for me.

I just don't play word games, and I'm very blunt on the internet. I also absolutely abhore anything I view as complete stupidity.

I seriously wonder sometimes about the people on here. Whether many of them would stand in front of a bus if they thought their god asked them to do it.

AAASRRGGGGGHH!!!!

GRRRRRRR!!

DIE DIE DIE

oh wait, im not actually angry, i just think that people who group together and bully the rest of society with irrational delusions about some guy who lived thousands of years ago, thousands of miles away who believed he was the son of an invisible omnipresent ear-wigger, I just think people like that are holding back humanity, and ultimately peace in the world.

Maybe I am angry about that.

Your question makes a lot of sense! are you mad at the ppl who do not believe in god? Everyone has their own believes and it is ppl like you who start these arguments and get people "angry".
