i did an experiment where my partners and i tried growing mold on apple juice, koolaid, and diet pepsi. it worked and the apple juice had the most mold. i was just wondering what mold grows on liquids. i tried looking online but because im at school, they dont let us go to a lot of them. i just need general information on mold that grows on liquids, how it forms, and what kind of mold it is....if you could help i would love you forever. lol. thanks!

This is one possibility:

"Patulin is a mycotoxin (mold toxin) produced from a number of molds such as Penicillium and Aspergillus. It has been found in moldy fruits, vegetables, grains and other foods, however, the major sources of contamination are apples and apple products."
