A gentleman never asks a woman to pay besides you are asking her out she didn't ask you. The only way you should even consider letting her pay is if she suggest that you all go Dutch, if not just be the Gentleman that you are and pay for the date......I know going to dinner and movie can be quite costly....I would suggest you go out to dinner.....a place not so expensive like a Fridays or Appleby's and then talk with her and get to know her.
When my husband and I were dating, we went out to dinner and movies a lot but I didn't expect him to pick up the tab all the time so we agreed to switch up to where he would pay today and I'd pay tomorrow or if we were doing both, he would pay for dinner and I would pay for the movie.

If you know her very well then I'd think that you should pay for everything especially if you plan on taking things serious. You should also be paying if you were the one who asked her out. If it doesn't turn out well then it's your loss. Whatever you do, do not make her pay for most of it (maybe she could pay for the tip at dinner if she doesn't pay for her meal or half if her meal cost more).

If you asked her out then you should pay for everything! It's not right for you to ask her out, pick all the places ya'll are going, and then expect her to pay for 1/2 of it!

You like her so pay the bill. If she doesn' t agree, tell her that she will pay the next time. If she accepts, you will know that everything is going OK and a second date will follow :)

You should pay if you are asking her for a date. She may offer to pay for her part but to make a good impression I would decline, you can even say you can pay next time to leave it open for another date.

If you asked her out you pay for everything. Once you are in a relationship then split it.

If you ask her out you pay for everything.
If you're low on funds....just say....
I'm low on funds but I wanted to go out with you so how about an early movie and fast food...then next time we can go someplace nicer.
When she asks you out she pays. When you know each other better you can both pay.

i think you should pay...if she's a nice girl, i'm sure she would offer too...i would tell her that you'll pay this time, and she can pay next time. or if you're going for dinner and a movie, you could pay for dinner and then if she offers, tell her she can pay for the movie. good luck! :)

Well since you're the one asking her out I think you should pay, of course if she insists on paying for something too, let her.
