Nope, not at all. Thanks. You just have to overlook the media propaganda.

This quote doesn't because it seems to say those who help other and forgive those who have done them wrong will do good while alive and after death too.
However there are quotes from the "supposed prophet "
Muhammad that approve of violence against unarmed women and children in order to convert them to Islam. and yes I have read the Koran and am not opposed to Islam..just opposed to Islamic terrorists who make all of the Islamic nations and people look like murderers..
It seems to me that the terrorists of today quote a lot of stuff from Muhammad so maybe he wasn't such a prophet but more of an early version of a terrorist.. Hey instead of the Prophet maybe he should have been called the very first terrorist?
I am sure the people of what is now called Turkey would agree since he ordered the slaughter of thousands of non Muslims believing it would force the conversion to Islam.
I believe religion is a good thing, any religion even Islamic religions but killing to convert people has to anger GOD.

How on earth does it? A finger to all the Islam haters. I hope you get your just deserts in the end.
PS: To the smelly snake who said Islam is a religion of hate and killing has obviously used any question posted on here with the word Islam in it to express his hateful views. Because if the ugly baboon had read the question his answer would have been that the quote is saying the opposite. He fears Islam ..... which can only be a good thing.

Quran says ''the pesrson who forgives is more wise than who takes revenge."
and also
in the islam a word qasas is used it means if someone have hurt the u r permitted to take revenge to him but it should be no more than his attitude if u have done more severe act then u will be given punishment for it in after life .this is mention like this."life for life..."
So it is your choise if u forgive him u would be granted heavens and if u take Qasas then there is no loss no gain thing

I feel Mohammad had a false dream...........and now they are waiting for Mahdi. To me much of what Mahdi will do parallels the anti-Christ.
But as far as "End Times"..........no one knows when and I think it's sad that so many are focused on this "rapture" thing when all should just be walking in the way of the Lord and following his commandments.
Enjoy life that God gave you and walk in his ways.
Peace be with you.
The Apocalypse Of Saint John
Chapter 22
16 I Jesus have sent my angel, to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and stock of David, the bright and morning star. 17 And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely. 18 For I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: If any man shall add to these things, God shall add unto him the plagues written in this book. 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from these things that are written in this book. 20 He that giveth testimony of these things, saith, Surely I come quickly: Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

That actually proves Islam to be a forgiving and peaceful religion. That quote is saying that even if someone lets you down or oppresses you, you should forgive them to become a better person while in this world and in the next.
As-Salamu Alaykum - Peace be upon you

One sentence does not make a religion. I'm sure people could post 100 that prove it is a hateful religion. The actions of the followers show the true nature of a religion.
May God Bless you.

Do these...?
Death for apostasy (Leaving Islam):
Sura 4:89: They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them,”
Kill Disbelievers in a cruel fashion:
Sura 5:33: "Those who make war with Allah and his messenger will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. That is how they will be treated in this world, and in the next they will have an awful doom."
Slit throats of unbelievers:
Sura 47:4: Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,- He will never let their deeds be lost.
Amputation for petty theft:
Sura 5:38: Cut off the hands of thieves, whether they are male or female, as punishment for what they have done—a deterrent from God: God is almighty and wise.
Killing unbelievers:
Sura 9:123. O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him.
Dont be friends with Jews or Christians:
Sura 5:51: O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your allies and protectors: They are but allies and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them. Verily Allah guideth not a people unjust.
Sex slaves are permitted:
Sura 4:24 Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess.
Kill disbelievers:
Sura 2:191. And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.
Permission for a muslim man to beat his wife if she doesnt obey him:
Sura 4:34: Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in their sleeping places and **beat them**; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.
Fight disbelievers:
Sura 9:29: Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
Men should have more rights than women:
Sura 2:228, And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree (of advantage) over them
Women are property:
Sura 2:223 Your women are a tilt for you (to cultivate) so go to your tilt as ye will, and send (good deeds) before you for your souls, and fear Allah, and know that ye will (one day) meet Him. Give glad tidings to believers, (O Muhammad)

Historically, it is not religion that has preached hatred and violence, it is people's interpretation of religion that has caused all of it.
We have used our slanted take on the worlds religions to wage wars, genocide, and other atrocities.
Ultimately, it seems all religions point to one celestial superpower.
Whether it go by Buddha, God, Allah, Gaia, or any other name is unsubstantial.
