I had an eye exam and need to know if it is correct. My prescription from 2 years ago on the right eye was
OD +3.00 -.25 X 080
my new prescription is
r) +3.00
No other numbers follow the +3.00

My left eye is exactly the same as 2 years ago
OS +2.75 -.25 x 100

Also both prescriptions show / + 2.25 ADD
at far right.

My question is Did my right eye get better or change in some way that the prescription is different? Thanks for any and all help.

the difference is negligible between the 2 prescriptions from 2 yrs ago. If I showed you the difference it is so small it would look the same

Your right eye prescription changed, but ever so slightly. The second numbers -.25x080 show your cylinder (astigmatism) and its axis. -.25 is such a small amount that it would be difficult for you to notice a difference. Most contact lenses aren't made with less than -.75 cylinder.
I'm not sure your age - but I would guess around 50-55 or older. I am not sure why your add did not change unless your first add was given around those ages I just listed and you tend to hold your reading material a little farther than normal. Without knowing more info it's difficult to make a guess...
If you're not having any trouble with the new prescription, I would not be concerned. it's perfectly normal for it to not change or change minimally

Your right eye with or without that -0.25x180 is functionally same in both the prescriptions.
For near work both eyes need an Add of +2.25. This is clinically comfortable if you are not less than 49 years of age.
Just make these spectacles and enjoy the vision.

looks like your right eye prescription didn't change, maybe you should call your eye doctor
