I was always pretty thin until I hit my 30's...then in my late 30's I had two kids...well I was getting pretty fat, I think my top weight was about 188! Christmas 2002 I knew I was big and had sort-a given up on ever losing weight so I pigged down an entire box of Godiva chocolates...later on, everyone was asking where is the chocolate..and was like, well I ate it all. Pretty piggy don't ya think? I also found myself finishing off plenty of happy meals from Mc Donald's that my kids did not finish...also every time we went out to eat I ordered appetizers and huge meals...I can really eat. Well after a bit I felt this was ridiculous and started working out again...the weight just was not coming off at first...I can recall trying to find a dress for my cousin wedding and having to settle for a size 18 suit that was tight...very sad moment...so i decided to try low carb to see if it would work...it did, I lost 50 pounds! I still eat low sugar but I have added lots of food back into my diet (Godiva chocolates are out, and I watch what I eat) I have kept my weight off for almost three years now! I continue to work out and pretty much just watch what I eat. I am back down to my 20's weight!!

My most greedy moment was when I was famished from working all day and not eating properly. I ate 4 hamburgers and rather fast. Generally I am the slowest eater at the table.
This is different answer than you might expect. In 1989 I had some stomach problem and lost 20 pounds in one week. I went from over 170 to just about 150. After that day I decided I would never lose weight intentionally because I looked and felt awful and it scared me being so thin.
About 6 years later on a bet I was able to lose 14 pounds and went from 210 down to 195.
About 4 years after that I began working out regularly in a gym. I didn't loose weight, I rearranged it and looked better.
After that period of time and as I got to 40 years old, I worried less about that than about living well.
Recently I did the new test BMI and waist measurement. When I found my waist was a 41 I decided to work on rearranging the weight.
So now I am up to a consistant 4,000 steps a day with 10,000 + a day being the goal. It is easy once you start.
I cut out 90% of processed foods.
I cut down on soda pop.
I cut down on eating a lot of candy.
I cut out most foods with hydrogenated or partially hydrogentated oils. = Transfats = Heart Attacks.
Maybe not the answer you seek but there really was not freediest moment. Was more about not looking how I want, and adjusting some things in my diet and exercise. I have lost about 5 pounds so far.

My older sister and I were at Kentucky Fried Chicken having dinner. We had the whole table covered with food: BBQ/Fried chickens, butter biscuits, coleslaw, mash potatoes, soda, desert etc.
We were so engrossed in our conversation, enjoying the onolicious' food, licking our fingers, smothering more butter on the biscuits that we didn't realize a gentleman was watching us.
After we were done eating and had cleaned up our rubbish, the gentleman said "It's nice to see ladies enjoy their food!" We were so mortified! We weren't offended though. Guess he wast tired of watching women pick at their plates.
It didn't make us want to lose weight although since then we've been very careful to know who's around us and watch how we eat!
