Unless there is a sonogram (and they can be wrong too) your vet may have been wrong about the amount of kittens.
I know all my babies and mommas I take to get checked out and they check for obvious birth defects. WIth everything being so rough to begin with that might be a good idea. Spay and neuter PLEASE!!!

You have to take her back to the vet!! Pets are like your children, you should take as good care of your pet as you would your own child. When you got your cat, you made a commitment to take care of her whenever she needed it. And you really didn't do that or she would have been spayed and not be in this situation right now. You need to find some way of getting her the vet care she needs, I know they are expensive, but this is a living, breatheing creature. If she has a kitten still inside and she is not in labor, many things can happen 1.) The kitten(s) still inside could die 2.) Your cat will get a severe infection if she has a dead kitten still inside and she will get very sick 3.) Your cat could die, resulting in the kittens she had not having their mother to care for them and they could die.

AS the person above me said, suck it up and take it to the vet. You made this choice by noting having her spayed. Now she needs the proper medical care.
Try to work out a payment plan with your vet (maybe seek a second opinion - you cat should never have left the vet).
If you don't get her to a vet asap, you may lose her, not just the kittens

You as an owner of a pet has a responsibility to take the cat back to the vet and get her checked out. If you don't the mother and all the babies could and will probably die. Then if the right people find out then you could have charges pressed against you.
If you classify your cat as part of you family then there should be no price put on her life

Yes it can happen because it happened to my female cat and was not found until I took her to the vet to be spade. This was after the kittens were given away and I took the cat to the vet for surgery.
The vet removed the dead and decaying kitten during surgery. the mother cat did fine, as a matter of fact she lived to the ripe age of 19.

If nothing else, call the vet. If there's a problem, it will need to be taken care of asap. She may need a ceasarian to get the other kitten out. Call the vet NOW.

You need to call the vet or take her to the vet. If there really is a kitten inside her... It can be fatal to her and the other kitten.

try to gently rub her belly, pressing gently toward down to give the kitten a boost, this may help stimulate labour to start up again.
if this don't work take her back to the vet and they will give her a c-section to get the kitten out.
