Thanks everyone. I do have broadband (DSL) but didn't want to pay for another box from Direct TV. Just wanted to play on an old TV

If I understand your question correctly, you have direct tv and you want to be able to view it in another room without getting another box from direct tv. If I'm understanding you correctly, there is no way to doing that legally. Unless you purchase another Direct TV box through eBay or something. But then you might as well get the box from Direct TV, it would probably be cheaper.
