i knew a boy when i was in 7th grade. we were friends but we didn't date and i liked him very much. I was more like a nerd and he was very popular! he was phoning me very often and I was very happy to have such a friend. then we split because of my friends' intrigues (they said he "uses" me and I stopped all communication with him!) 2 years later he left the school. and we didn't communicate after that AT ALL! now, when 3 years passed, i realize that i still love him and that he's my dream! but i can't get in touch with him! his friends are not my friends, and i've got to much pride (i mean, i'm afraid to look as an importunate girl). I've really changed and i've become charismatic and nice and pretty. I've seen him this year but I was with my boyfriend whom i thought i loved (after break-up I realized that that was that guy, whom I wanted all the tim),so i couldn't flirt with him! he's changed a lot - he's become so nice too! i don't know what to do! HELP!

Bottom line is that your memory of him is from 7th grade and a few years after?

Just know that those types of feelings don't usually hold in the "real" world of dating. Do you think you have any real idea of who he is now?

My guess is that you are searching for something that is not there. I could be wrong, and I am not telling you to chase the opportunity.

I say you find him, and tell him how you feel. Ask him out and see what happens. However, just know that what you feel now for him is 1) a romantic idea based off of long past juvenile feelings, and 2) may not be reciprocated.

Good luck!

Just find him and tel lhim directly what you feel. Ypur chances to succeed are not very high ( he may be in a serious relationship now) but you hvae to try. Don't give up - there must be a way to find him. Phone everybody who may know something about him, try to find his e-mail and so on.

Give it up and move on. You blew it when you listened to your friends "intrigues." You should have discussed this with him.

He's gone. It's time to stop mooning over lost chances.

Move on.
