Can someone please tell me how many yards I need to buy of 60 inch wide material to make a queen and king size quilt? Thank you ever so much for your help !!

This really depends on what you're doing. If you're just sewing together solid pieces of fabric for the front and back of the quilts, no patchwork, then you need about 13 yards for each one. You'll waste a little fabric for the queen, but it will be easier. If you're making simple blocks, for example, 10" finished squares (no block pattern, just squares sewn together), you'll need about 13 yards for the queen and 14 yards for the king. This is for a slightly larger comforter size (about 8" bigger on all sides than a standard quilt, which usually only comes down the side of the bed a few inches).
