My daughter just went into a size 16 (from the kid sizes) and I have a sneaky suspicion that she won't be in it long. What would be the next size? Adult sizes? I'm in a tizzy over this.

She will be a small
How old is she.
My sex year old is a size eight, and the clothes are too old for her. Actually, my niece is 13, just went in Juniors and I find better stuff there then children

Actually I fit into a girls size 16 and a womens size 0 or 2 for pants. But I need to wear petite or ankle sizes because I am a bit shorter and the regular lengths doesn't fit. Also, sometimes they come in waist x length sizes. I usually wear a 27 x 30.

Sizes really depend on the fit but don't worry, just shop for her in the womens section instead of kids! Have her try a few different sizes and it won't be hard to find a match!

Junior sizes. She would probably fit into a junior size 0 or 1 now. We just went through this last year with my daughter. Once they are out of the children's sizes you'll need to try everything on because there are no standard sizes. Also, for clothes that just come in S,M,L your daughter would go into a XS.

Ask for the Junior area that is where she is headed, in fact she could probably wear junior sizes now, because some of them are smaller than children's. Being a 16 she may wear around an 8? She should be in that size area for a few years.

I agree, start with the junior sizes 0 - 3 depending upon the store.

She would require a Juniors size after girls sizes. Then I beleive it is misses and then womens sizes. Most department stores have a juniors section. Ask a sales rep for help if you are still confused. Hope you can figure it out for her.

It depends on the manufacturer, but I used to wear a girls size 16 in ski pants but in ladies I was closer to a 4 for most jeans. Good luck and take her with you shopping, she will have to try everything on or you'll be doing alot of returning.

yes,

When I was a size 0-3 in womens, I could fit a 16 in girls. I'm also short so it fit pretty good.
