Canon is my pick for excellent build quality, features and photos. I have the SD700 IS and its a great little camera...and it looks very stylish with an all metal build.
Or the SD600 is also an excellent camera.

I could never recommend the other brands...Panasonic has far too much 'noise', even when using a low ISO. Olympus, Kodak...hmmm, you will never get as good a camera performance or photo quality from these.
And the only Fuji (which is not on your list), I could recommend, is the F30 for it's amazing low-light capability.

So, the only 3 cameras I would pick...
if you want an ultra compact, point & shoot camera with great quality photos & features as well as great quality movies, then you should look at the very popular Canon SD models...
SD 700 IS (which looks much more stylish & sexy and has the added benefit of optical image stabilization).
or the great little Canon SD600
All SD models have very limited manual controls, they are designed as point & shoot.

If you want the flexibility of auto plus full manual controls, image stabilization and 6x optical zoom, then the Canon A710 IS would be the better option.
You won't be disappointed by either of these Canon models. Just make sure you get a fast SD card (Sandisk Ultra II or Extreme III), so you get the best camera performance you can get.

While I like the design and ease of use of the Kodak lines (especially when you couple it with a printer dock) I'm not very impressed with their quality. I've had a couple of family members have to return near new cameras for serious malfunctions and the Kodak reputation on some of the photography web sites is not that great.

The Panasonic cameras typically do well and have a good reputation for reliability and picture quality. I'm not entirely sure about image stability of the three you listed I believe either would do well.

Canon has a huge following and brand loyalty. Of the Canon's you list the 700IS or 710IS is probably the best choice for image quality, ease of use and stability (the "IS" in the name denotes image-stability).

Both the Fuji and Oly are well regarded as well.

I might suggest a trip to Best Buy or Circuit City to actually feel how these cameras feel in your hand. Too often folks get caught up with the technical specifications to really focus on the ergonomic ones when often times the ergonomics play just as an important role in picture quality.

Having a camera that is comfortable in your grip with controls that are laid out well makes a big difference. Of those you list I think you'll do well with the Canon, Panasonic, and Olympus.

I even have the Nikon D3000 and that i'm in love with the digital camera! while i develop into procuring for SLR cameras at Chirstmas, I regarded at the two the D3000 and the D3100. The determining ingredient for me develop into i develop into able to look at pictures that the two cameras took to evaluate the standard and issues. i myself could no longer tell the version interior the pictures. And to me, i did no longer see spending $150 greater to get the greater moderen form while the D3000 did basicly the comparable element.

Don't choose a camera that has no viewfinder. Kodak C875 has none. Using the lcd screen alone, eats up batteries quicker.

Can only speak for the FinePix F20.
It has image stabilization (and works great), its a 6.3 meg pixal and its sells for $169 on sale.
Great camera for the money and features.

Go with the lens. Panasonic is using a Leica lens, one of the best. Now within the Panasonic cameras that use Leica lenses choose the best one you can afford. I'd use Megapixels as a first criteria and zoom as a second.

I would recommend a Canon Powershot coz its just supercool (and endorsed by Maria Sharapova ) or a SONY Cybershot coz it gives the best results with least effort.
