week. Today he is coughing, sort of sounds like he is trying to bark or yipping. What is up??????

Sounds like your puppy may have had a reaction to the vaccine. You may want to contact your vet to see if there is any way the vaccine can actually give your puppy "kennel Cough". I don't think it can, but it never hurts to ask.

Yes, it sounds like he's having a nasal reaction to the Bordatella (kennel cough) vaccine. Call the vet just to make sure your dog's reaction is within the "normal" range.
Your dog can't get kennel cough from the vaccination because it's not a live-virus vaccine; it's an antibiotic.

I recommend taking your puppy to be checked at your vet. Your puppy may have a upper resportory infection and need an antibotic. At least you will have the peace of mind to know what is causing the coughing. Best of luck!!

He could be having a reaction to the bordetella vaccine. This kind of thing was listed in the "what to watch out for" list I got from my vet. (My pup had hers almost a week ago too). I'd call the vet just to make sure.
