You'd have to read the package to be certain.

However, in the US, the skinless hot dogs (ball park, oscar meyer, etc) are all fully cooked. It says so on the package.

The old fashioned hot dogs, in casings, are not fully cooked. These are the type you buy at the deli counter by the pound. However, you can ask the clerk and they can tell you for sure.

Yes they should be FULLY cooked if not they are at least partially cooked. You can always try looking on the label it should list if they are fully or partially cooked. Keep in mind though that is it STRONGLY recommended to heat them through and not out of the package. Hope this helps

Yes. Some sausages are as well. You can tell by looking for small print which will either say "Fully cooked", or will specify that it has to be cooked before eating.

Red Angel is wrong. The answer is yes. All hot dogs sold in super markets are precooked. You can eat them cold if you like.

Supposedly they are, but I've seen that most packages say "cook before serving". My friend eats 'em raw. That's just nasty. As if hotdogs weren't nasty enough when they're cooked!

yeahh, they are pre-cooked, i suppose you can buy them not cooked too. I personally like Nathans Hot Dogs or bratwurst-german style.

Yes, they're like Bologna. I used to eat them right out of the package (still do once and a while).
