I put a little milk in all regular "black" teas. I love it in English Breakfast tea and I like it in Grey Earl (I think thats the name) but it's also good in the basic Lipton's, Silada etc,

I do not know the rules, I just put the milk in all of them. I have had some herbal teas curdle because they were too acid. Green tea is fine with milk.

It's up to you, but I never put milk in any tea that's flavored, so milk in Earl Grey would be right out.

Green tea and herbal teas are generally too delicate to take milk (the milk will overpower the taste), so I wouldn't recommend that, either.

I don't believe there is a rule. I have seen people putting milk on Earl Grey. I like only on the reguler tea (rose). Everything else is no sugar, no cream. It is your buds, You decide.
