most babies can hold a bottle themselve by 8 months, but she may just not want to. my son still had a bottle at almost 2, and i still held it for him. he's done now though, at 2.5. =) as far as crawling, most babies can crawl by 9 months. but if your baby is behind, dont worry about it! some babies never crawl. if you are concerned about it, talk to your pediatrician. he can tell you other things to look out for as far as developemental delays.
i am sure your baby is perfectly normal!

Crawling is a tricky thing--it happens at different times for all kids. And, some kids skip crawling and go straight to rolling or scooting! Try not worrying about it until she's a year old-- By then, she'll definitely be doing some variation on getting around.
(I know an 11-month old boy that scoots instead of crawls... And my niece never crawled...she rolled from room to room!)
As far as the bottle goes, it really depends on how used she is to holding items. My son held his bottle relatively well at 10 months. even though he's a year, he sometimes won't hold it because he's too relaxed.
It'll happen! hang in there!

She'll start crawling any time between now and the next few months. But don't worry too much about it, some kids belly crawl a little and then just walk. In terms of holding her bottle, start putting her hands around it now and let go. Do it over and over and over again until she starts to hold it herself. Also put her hands on it and just use one finger to hold the bottom up so you're supporting it for her, but not holding it for her. She's old enough and coordinated enough to do it, she just has to want to. If you start giving her a sippy cup of water with her meals she'll start to get the hang of self-feeding also.

My daughter is 5 months old and she can already hold her own bottle but my best friends daughter is 9 months and she can't. I think it just depends on the baby. My daughter doesn't like tummy time so I don't know if she is ever going to crawl. She loves to stand though(she has an exersaucer and loves it). I think all babies are different.

I have 4 children and my first 3 children started to crawl at 7mth's and hold they bottles between 6 to 8 mth's. I now have a 3mth old and I will see when he starts to crawl and hold his bottle. Every child is different, so it is not easy to determine when it is going to happen. My first son did not crawl at all he just started to walk at 9mth's old..

All babies develop at their own rate. Some babies never crawl - they go right to walking. Let her start to help you hold the bottle she may get the hang of it. I wouldn't worry.

Hi. i'm a mother of five and all of my children started at different times, but most of them were around five months when they started learning how to get on their belly but every child is different. i would say if she isn't doing those things yet just practice with her every day holding her bottle with her. Put her on her belly and you get on your belly right in front of her and just have a really funny time she will get the hang of it and start trying to come to you good luck

i might fairly her come to me with this concern, then have her shave. Shaving basically will enhance the upward push interior the hairs. It like stubble on a mans face. He shaves interior the morning, and via the night her already has stubble appearing. Shaving, as you suggested waste time, and interior the long-term is greater uncomfortable than waxing. i'm hoping that as quickly as my daughter is around that age, she would be waiting to no longer even hassle shaving, because of the fact in case you wax from the beginning up of your hair removing days, the longer it takes for the hair to strengthen decrease back. i will decide for months w/o waxing because of the fact i've got waxed provided that 14. i've got self belief, as a mom that 13 is somewhat youthful for a bikini wax, yet, i does no longer want my baby to unhappy together with her visual charm, or self huge conscious approximately something. try asking your mom are you able to flow to a salon and get waxed. Even teach her your submit. i might enable my daughter get the bikini wax, in basic terms for the summer season time, although. Ask your mom are you able to get it carried out for the summer season time so which you would be able to placed on you swim suits. good success.

Ugh holding your baby and their bottle while you feed is the only quiet time you will get with most older babies, why give it up? Your baby needs that contact with you.
