I've found it in my system startup but there is no delete option when I right click. Is there some place else I'm to go? I still want the program but not the banner showing up when I turn on my computer. Thanks.

Is this a banner that basically is the name of the program which shows up while the program is loading - just like every other program? Or is this something that is always visible?

If it's something that you only see during start up but goes away afterwards, you just need to removed the program from your start-up group.

Look to see if the program is under the Start-up folder in the start menu (Start>Programs>Startup). If it's there, then just right click it and delete.

If the program isn't listed there, bring up the program - either launch it or double click the tray icon. Go to the program's preferences (usually Edit>Preferences or Edit>Options) and un-check the option to launch when Window starts.

***This next one is a more advanced step but you probably can't hurt anything***
If that doesn't work, go Start>Run and type 'msconfig'. Go to the Startup tab and find the listing for the program. Now this may not be obvious so if you aren't sure, you can type the name of the exe file into a Google search and it will tell you which program it is. When you find the right one, just un-check it and click OK. You will then be prompted to restart your computer or exit without restart. It's best to restart your computer now but if you have things open that you need to save you can exit without restarting. When you restart you will get a dialogue box saying you've selected a selective startup. Just check the box the not ask again and then click OK.

If the "banner" is the programs splash screen there may be a setting in the program to disable it

Also, you may not necessarily need that program to start when you start your computer

Sometimes it is set up in the bios. You should look there first.
It also depends on what banner you want to remove. Add more info to your question. You could also try doing a google or yahoo search on bootsplash or splash screen.

commence>run regedit flow to: HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftware MicrosoftWindows CurrentVersionRun all of those registry values are the courses that run at startup... i can make a backup replica of them and then flow ahead and delete those that you do not imagine you opt on... if something messes up.... flow to the backup.... yet try to be superb.

try the "start" then "all programs" then "start up" and make sure it is empty, after that go to the msconfig and go to start up. You will have to do a modified start if you go there.
