Zinseer has a product that comes in a spray bottle, JOMAX mildew and stain remover works great BUT if this has been sealed prior you'll have to sand it out no matter what cause it will grow back. Good Luck Just wanted to say Kilz does not prevent mold, there is a product that does called mildew check or Zinseer makes a bathroom paint that guarantees for 5 yrs

Scrub it down with a bucket of bleach water. About 1 cup bleach to a 2-1/2 gal. bucket, and a scrub brush. Let it dry. Primer the wall with Kilz paint, it prevents mold. Then paint it.
