we filed married filing jointly and filed for a rac (refund anticipation check) and she has credit card debt only I have no debt .will they take my tax return?

No, tax refunds are never taken for ordinary credit card debt.

There is one exception, however. If it's the Military Star card issued by AAFES and NEX, that is a debt to the Federal government and FMS can confiscate tax refunds for that.

Normally non Federal or State are the only debts that can be offsets to your refund, Commercials debts are not reported to Financial Management Services (FMS)

what would make you think they would take it for credit card debt. I dont think they can do that.
