I was in line at the store and heard 2 guys talking about dating girls with kids one guy said he wouldnt cause the kids just get inthe way and the other siad it was just gross. Is this really what guys think or are these 2 just not the normal.

I think it just depends on the man. There is not actually a answer because everyone has a different outlook on what they want in a relationship. I do tend to think younger men do not want women with kids. Which is probably good since they aren't ready to raise them.

I think these 2 were probably very immature and young. I don't think it represents what all guys think. I think it is fine as long as she doesn't have 3 or more kids. I have 2 kids myself and that just makes for too damn big of a family.
Also, if a guy has kids himself, it changes his whole perspective. This type of a guy is probably wanting a girl with kids so his kids can have playmates, etc.

When I was dating I never went out with guys who had children because I didn't want to play 2nd.
If he had children the children should always be first.
If a guy dates a woman with children the children shouldn't be involved with him for a very long time in case things don't work out.
He should never spend the night when the children are there....in other words the childrens well-being should always come first & for some people like me that was too hard.

All guys are different. I think the ones who are a little older and wiser are more open to it and more realistic about the fact that many women have kids. I am dating a guy who is 40 and has never had kids or been married, but he has been awesome about my three girls.

Some guys are fine with it, others aren't. I'd date a woman with kids, but as far as marriage, probably not. I feel like I wouldn't be able to bond with the kids like I would my own.

Them two were probably young/not mature guys. I probably said the same thing way back years ago. Now days, there ain't too many wome who don't have children. I date them all.

I don't want to be a instant father. Especially if the kids are teenagers. That is the worst !
