Check out http://www.australia.gov.au/226 for your options.

Maybe an employer could sponsor you.

Or claim Refugee status. Just say it's too dangerous for you to return home thanks to the Americans (and Australia to a lesser extent) fuc*ing up your country.

When you go to a country you are on a certain visa so when the time is up & the visa has expired then you can apply for a working visa but most times you will have to go back to your country to fullfill the agrement with immigration. On the other hand if you have a company that is willing to employ you that will benifit you more as they can sponser you to stay,as a last resort you can always apply for a refugee? visa as the situation in your home country is of worldwide knowledge that it is in disaray & you can apply for a certain visa due to the situation going on your country. We are all aware of the fact that we do employ people from other countries & if you are under 26 it is even easier as the possibilities are enormous, good luck & i hope it all work's out for you.
