I am not fond of the Sabb because it looks like a Chevy blazer, but I am thinking Mercedes, Bmw or Lexus

I already have a 2006 Hummer H2 but I am looking for something a little smaller.
The H2 is great for pulling my horses, quads, jet skis and snowmobiles, but I want something a little more flashy, after all, I am a prissy princess! :)

I advise checking out the VW Touareg. Good value, great safety, nice ride with continous dampening air suspension. Touareg shares a frame and engine with the Porsche Cayenne. I've sold BMW and VW and I like both but I think dollar for dollar the Touareg is the best SUV in the marketplace. The only advantage the X5 has is the free maintenence and of course the prestige of owning a BMW. Even the X3 has more room in back than the X5. The Bimmer is a good deal if you lease it, but if you buy you will pay thru the nose when the free maintenence is up at 50k miles.
Volkswagens have lots of great features, including a really cool backup camera, a great Nav system and best yet it starts at only $36,000 with a 3.6L V6. The 4.2L V8 totally loaded is $55,000 and they also offer an incredible V10 TDI Diesel with 600 lb/ft of torque. Of course that one costs over $60k.
VW also boasts better towing and offroad/snow performance than BMW with comprible handling. All engines tow 7716 pounds with a tounge weight of 715 pounds.. The Touareg, which was the 2004 SUV of the Year for Motor Trend, is not as tired and boring as the Lexus RX330. Everyone and their mom owns one of those and they don't have the best resale.
Cross Benz off your list. The M is garbage and over-rated. There were so many problems with the old generatiion that this post would be a mile long if I listed them. You are better off with a Chrysler Aspen than the Benz.
Buy what you like, but at least give the VW a shot. Another great deal is the Hyundai Santa Fe, believe it or not. It's come a long way, and has a great warranty as well as being cheap to maintain and drives very nice for a $29,000 truck. That said, the Infinity FX and the Mazda CX are nice SUV's too, and relatively good deals.

The video card is actually high end, second best on the AMD side. The processor is what you'd want to upgrade.

SAAB is owned by GM so they not only look alike but use the same parts.
I have the Lexus RX350 and it's an awesome vehicle.
270hp but gets 25mpg.
It's also loaded with safety and luxury options such as front/rear curtain airbags; tire pressure monitor; GPS with voice command & rear view camera; ABS/VSC/TRAC; rain sensing wipers; etc.
Plus it'll retain its resale value and reliable unlike the others.

I love my ML320. The new ones have a little bigger engine than mine, but I've had no problems, and it is one of the safest cars on the road. It is also AWESOME on slick roads. That said, no one on Y/A can choose a car for you. Go out and drive all the ones you like, and choose one for yourself. Good luck, and have fun with your new car!
