I could go days if there was some sort of incentive at the end.

If you ask my husband, I never stop. I think that's why I'm on Answers all the time during the day. It's a way of communicating without using words, so it's kind of like talking. I think it's why I give such long answers, too. I'd say probably 2 minutes. If no one's around, I talk out loud to myself sometimes. Our daughter is the same way. Have you seen that Volvo commercial where the little girl doesn't stop talking to her dad even when he shuts the door to walk around the car? That's a lot like her.

The longest has been about 8-9 days.... At the time I lived in a very remote part of the world. I'd have the rare conversation at the grocery store and gas station.

Of course, I probably mumbled to myself and my computer screen occasionally. And, if I sneezed I'd have said "excuse me" (ingrained habit), so that might disqualify me!

I have probably gone for long stretches, but most of the time I suspect I don't go too long without talking or singing to myself. Since I'm somewhat unconscious of how much I do it, I'm not exactly sure how much time.

I can Go for at least 20 hours without talking if someone don't talk to me first.

Depends on my mood really. If i'm:
happy - not for more than 5 mins
irritated - not for more than 10 sec ( i have to keep passing some comments to irritae ev1 else !)
extremely upset - ...maybe an enttire evening/morning/night
at my usual - not more than 10 mins.
Cheers !

When I had laryngitis once, I went two full weeks. It hurt to speak. I felt invisible. On a normal day, I can go hours unless my husband hasn't gone to work.

I can go forever. I don't necessarily feel the need to speak to fill a void.
