I've owned both males and females, the difference i found was males look for attention and (some) females only come to you when they want to and leave when they want to leave. But I think it all depends on the temperment of the dog you get no matter what sex. Males do hump your leg if you don't get them neutered or don't correct the problem before hand. and males when they are puppies their privates hang out when they get excited until you get them neutered. Females if you don't get them spayed you will have dogs hanging out around your yard trying to get at her and females get periods like human's do, but not after you get her spayed. Females are really moody I found also they will sit there and pout if they don't get their way. males are stalkier and a little bigger but not to much of a difference. I really don't have a preference for either males or females once you have them in your family you just can't see yourself without them. I found that once they are neutered there is no problems or really any difference they will be loyal to you until the end no matter what sex they are. both are loving and sweet, If you give your puppy the training and socialization right from the start you will have no problems when they are older. Just have alot of patience and be consistant with your training, don't let it get away with something one day and get mad at it the next. Praising and treating as soon as it does something right. Crate training would be something to look into and when out of the crate i tether my puppy to my belt buckle by his leash so i could housetrain and show him right from wrong and mainly to keep an eye on him at all times cause i have young children who i never leave him unsupervised with, as soon as I can't keep an eye on him I put him right into the crate which he loves being in now, when he is tired and wants a rest he heads right for his crate to relax, but with starting out on crate training it took awhile for him to stop whining and barking, but I had to be consistant not let him out when he barked and whined, if he was fed, already went washroom and was fine i would not let him out until he was quiet, when he calmed down I would say good quiet and gave him a treat but as soon as he started again I walked away, when he calmed down again I would say good quiet and would take him out to play and would never give in to his crying cause if i did I would just have to start all over again with his training. Good luck with the new puppy and your choice.... Kongs are a good toy for when your puppy is on it's own, I just love these toys cause you could stuff so much treats or whatever into these things and freeze them and it keeps them busy for awhile especially when I have to leave him alone for awhile. I love putting mashed bananas and yoguart into it and freezing it and when i give it to him he just loves it, there is so many recipies you could put in these things. My pup loves this recipe. Smear the inside of the Kong toy with peanut butter. Put a tiny piece of apple into the small hole, then drop some more apple pieces in next. Drop in a scoop of peanut butter (or cream cheese), then drop in some dogfood or broken dog treats. Add another scoop of peanut butter (or cream cheese), then more apples. Plug the large opening with a final scoop of peanut butter (or cream cheese) and freeze.

Both males and females are just as good as the other as pets! However, you should consider neutering and spaying your dog. If this is not done, males will spray to mark his territory and females will go in heat, which is pretty hard to deal with if you have other dogs around. I personally have a neutered male Maltese and he is the most loving dog you could imagine! He doesn't cause any problems because he was neutered at 6 months. Make sure you neuter him before he goes too far into puberty otherwise, he'll still mark. It's also much healthier for your pet if you neuter/spay it, if you're not planning on breeding.

Also, females tend to be a little more moody, or so I've heard! Either way, both sexes make great pets!

maximum Anime characters do not pass-gown, so what you spot is what you get, (meaning that if the image sounds like a female, then the character is maximum probable a female.) even nevertheless, there are some characters that are difficulty-free as "traps", (those characters are definitely adult males with female features that throughout the time of particular circumstances pass-gown.) There somewhat isn't besides of understanding whether those charaters are male or female by observing them, (the only thank you to be attentive to is to observe the Anime wherein they look and discover that out your self; it is practically impossible to tell whether a character which you have have been given in no way considered before is a catch or not.)

I prefer a female dog because they tend to be more loyal, and less likely to roam. Male also like to mark their territory which alot of time is in your house.

With that said I have a male dog for the first time now. I have always had females before.

Don't get a pug. With their short snots they are unable to cool themselves. One of the less intellegent breeds. And you will becaome very friendly with vet.

We always bought males, and the only thing I remember is them being mean, biting a lot, or being extremely and obnoxiously hyper. We accidentally got a female a few years ago (in a litter of five she was the only girl and I kind of just picked her up and assumed I'd picked up a male) and she's the sweetest thing, I will NEVER get another male. The "fixing" is more expensive, but it's so worth it. She's playful but so gentle, I've NEVER heard her growl (except when she's playing) and biting is completely unheard of, she's never even tried. I'd say get a female, just from past experience.

Male dogs are interested in their territory. As a result, they stake it out by peeing in different areas. Walks are longer because they need to stop and make many short pee breaks. They’ll also sometimes stake out some area indoors, though they can be broken of this. Female dogs don’t worry about territory. When you walk them, they squat and pee once. Much faster and makes for a more enjoyable walk.

You may also get responses on mothering etc. I can not talk to that, because my dog has been fixed (though I contend she was never broken!!!).

there is no real difference... besides the sex... if you are looking to breed than that is a whole other story. preferably a female is better for a breeder, but studs are fine. make sure the parents are healthy. no breathing problems... pugs should not snort when they are calm. that is a major problem. try to see if their are any skin problems in the family as well.

hmm it just depends on if you want a little princess or a tough guy to hang out with...some people say that males are sweeter but girls can be sweet too...females cost more to spay....males are harder to house train (they hike their legs on stuff)...i've had both and both are sweet and fun...when you go to pick out your puppy just focus on the puppy that looks healthy and plays

Besides the obvious, males are much more lovable. Females are a bit more controlling.
