I was diagnosed with hypothyroidin May, 2005 my doctor really didn't explain to mush to me, she gave me synthroid and Phentramine and sent me on my way.

My question is, is it a good ideal to take both at the same time?

Another thing she did not explain to me that I would have trouble having a child, I am 25 and have two kids and I do plan on having more but if theres to many risk then I might not. I was extremly fertile before the hypo but don't know if I still am, even with a positive ovulation test I couldn't get pregnant.

What are goods ways to keep fertile and have a healthy child?

I highly suggest you learn more about being hypothyroid. It's the only way to get the best care. As far as having a child, you need to get your morning TSH around 1.0. This will help with getting pregnant and hopefully with most symptoms. If it does not, then there are other options. I have put a few links before for you to read. Most doctors tend to undermedicate us or treat our symptoms rather than treating the condition.

The synthroid should be taken with water and both of these medications will boost your metbolism. You will probably lose alot of weight if you take them correctly.Just be sure to take them in the morning so they don't interfer with your sleep because they could make you real moodie if you are not getting any rest. Also my friend was on the phentermine and her teeth decayed because she did not have the vitamins in her body she needed because she was not eating much food,You may want to take a daily vitamin with theses meds.
