There are a few priests that bend the rules & will marry a couple outside of a church, but that is indeed a rareity.
There are some officiants that will perform some of the Catholic rites during a ceremony, if it is important to a couple. There are also former priests who do this as well.
Or you could get a plain ol' officiant.
To find an officiant, type nto Yahoo your city, state & wedding officiant (no 's' on the end)
There is also a site called interfaith officiants that might be able to help you.

If you want to be married in a Catholic ceremony by a priest outside the church, yes there are priests who do this, but they are few and far between so you will have to hunt around for one. But they are out there, I dont think they can call themsleves "Roman Catholic" because of the strict laws of the church, but I know my cousin was married by a Catholic priest and she was not married in the church. I am not sure what part of the church he was considered though.
However, if you are just looking for someone to preform the ceremony and you are not concerned with the religious aspects, you can get a Justice of the peace to preform. They usually dont charge all that much, just a small fee and travel expenses.
Best of luck!

You can have anyone you want marry you. In most states there's a site where people can go and register to officiate a wedding. I believe you could look it up in your state under city clerk or city hall. They'll have all the info for you.
If you can't think of anyone you'd want to officiate, you could have a local judge perform the cermony. If you go to your local city hall they would be able to tell you who's eligible to perform a wedding ceremony.

If you pay for a priest he will come. Or you can start going to Church regularly and then get hitched. Or simply go the ROM and say I promise in front of the learned registrar. Your question is curious. I am not sure if you want to get married at all. Try co-habitation and this will solve your problem. Once pregnant then marry. One step at a time please.

Yes, there are actually ministers who advertise for such things. Unfortunately I left my wedding planner book at home today, but if you look in the yellow pages and online for your area, you will be able to find what's called a non-denominational spiritual advisor or leader who will perform your wedding for usually $50 - $100 bucks (which they call a 'donation').

Yes, you can usually find someone of another faith who would be willing to do it without trying to get you to join their church. Also, you could find a judge or something like that. It shouldn't be a problem. I know someone who was married by a guy ordained on the internet!

Perhaps you and your fiance should consider joining a denomination other than Catholic. Contrary to what the Roman Catholic Church may say, there are other Churches that are as valid or even more so.
