I am almost finish with all my basic classes at a community college and I still don't know what I want to be. I am thinking in becoming a early childhood teacher but somethimes I don't want to, or a computer teacher or a photographer or a policeman. What would be a good career? Or what can I do to choose the right one?

The best way to decide what you want to do is to experience. Schools allow students to "observe", so if you can handle that burocracy, that's not a bad way to go.

Do you have a computer teacher at your school? Talk to him and ask lots of questions!

Photographer is a little harder as it could be considered "artist" depending on what you want to do with it. So, you'd need to decide if you have the passion to risk being poor a lot.

Police allow "ride alongs" and I would recommend getting very familiar with the ins and outs of what policeofficers really do. (I know several people who were inspired to be a cop from watching "CRASH".

So....ask lots of questions, gather all the experience you can, and be very introspective to discover what you really want to do.

Best of luck to you!

Talk to people who are in those fields. See if your community college offers any guidance classes? Sometimes there are cheap continuing education classes that are designed for people who A- want a career change or B- don't know what they want to do
Do you have a job? Even if it is something in retail or waitressing or something silly then it might give you an idea of how you want to interact with people in your job and what kind of people you eventually want to be around.

if you cant decide what you want to be, a good class to take in collage is buisness. That way, when you decide on a career path, you will have an advantage on the rest of your co-workers by having the know-how to deal with the real world and all of the insider buisness that goes on. ( plus buisness courses will teach you how to deal with people in a polite and buisness like manner)

go and talk to your student support service and ask them for psychometric testing, it should be free. This will fit YOU to the course that is best suited to your personality type. you should be presented with a list of courses that are best suited for you. which would be better than you picking something you think might be best
