Quite often these drivers are not even going as fast as those drivers that use the nearside lane, resulting in a dilemma. Undertake, or try and manoeuvre across and behind to overtake correctly. Answers from culprits would be an advantage.

I drive 30,000 miles a year and these idiots drive me crazy. My father in law does it, it's because the lorries wear wheel ruts in the nearside lane. When he drives in that lane he can't keep the vehicle straight because his wheel span is not the same as a lorry. so hes fighting the steering wheel to keep it straight.
Thats his excuse... I just think he is an inconsiderate git!

Because people don't know how to drive! Simple as that...most people probably don't even know that on a two lane road, the left lane is the passing lane and the right is the driving lane.
But one thing that causes this problem here in Michigan is there are not as many left turns as their are "turn arounds" you have to be in the left lane, make a left turn, then make a right turn at the intersection. This causes Grandma to get into the left lane 5 miles before she needs to turn, and being afraid to break 35...it slows down traffic and can even be dangerous.

I undertake these idiots regularly.
What I do notice is that they are normally either men in the 50-60 age group or young women in their 20's.
I'd love to know the reason. Perhaps there is a "Middle Lane Owner's Club" or something that can give us a reply.

Don't you know? They are on a raised part of the road and if they drive either side of the middle lane, they will drop off the edge of the Earth in to oblivion. They can only move lanes when it is safe to do so near the slip roads.

They are idiots. I undertake them pull in front of them and slow them down and when they move out to overtake i move to the inside lane and accelerate away.

because they are tossers & think the inside lane is just for trucks & slow vehicles , have you noticed the other tossers who drive at 70 some times faster in the out side lane then flash their lights at you to get out of way why because you are in the BMW lane & should not be there as its just for bmw's

You should never undertake in this circumstance. If you're in the slow lane yourself, change to the middle lane then the fast lane to overtake.
