HI everyone, need some help.
I have a bunch of movies in divx form on cds that I want to burn into dvd-playable discs.
What are some good converter programs out there and for dvd authoring is there anything quicker than Pinnacle (it takes forever and take sup all my system resources.

This might save you some time. Most of the newer DVD players will play DIVX formats without any problems. Check your player and if it doesn't handle it, then I bet you can get one that does for $30-40. I got a phillips for $36

Converting the video file to be usable in a regular DVD player takes a LONG time no matter what program you use. Nero is good, but very expensive. I use Diko...it has a little bit more of a learning curve than Nero, but it is more customizable and it a lot cheaper.

You need a DVD burner which also supports divx codec transition.
I suggest u to use the tool listed in the following source

If you have XP nero burning suit 6 is the best.
