I am beginning the process of buying a car in Washington state. I can afford a $250-$300/ month car payment. This includes the interest I will be paying. With all taxes, title, liens, etc. what can I expect for a price of a car? I was thinking a $10,000 car before all other costs and interest. Is this about accurate, if over 60 months I want to pay $15,000?

I am in WA state also and when I bought my car I paid $11,000 for it and my payment was only $238/month, it really is going to depend on where you go to buy the car, how new you want and what your interest rate is going to be. Make the sales man work for the sale, they can figure out all those details for you before you make a final decision.
