I believe that. My parents have been married for 36 years my Grandparents have been married for 60 years and my brother and his wife have been married for 10 years they all told me the same thing that when you meet the right person you will know instantly. I didn't listen and I have been living in Hell for the last 4 years. My wife told me she knew the first day we met that I was the one. I believed her and thought well maybe I am not in tune. I was a little desperate I was 29 and everyone I knew had been married before they were 25 so I got married and I have regretted it every since. My Grandpa told me he knew he was going to marry my Grandma before he even knew her name. She was working in a soda shop he had never seen her before in his life, one of his brothers was with him and he told him see the girl I am going to marry her, and he did. They have been married for over 60 years

I do believe that "everyone has a soul mate out there for them and they will meet someday and be very happy till the end of time".

But

I don't believe in love at first sight its actually
lust at first sight.

There are people who believe in what you said. There are also people who believe that Elvis was an alien. There is no good reason to believe either statements, but nor can you prove that they are not true.

To be more optimistic, I believe there are many soul mates for everyone. People are not only compatible with one single other person in the world, otherwise, the chance of finding that person is very small, hence the chance for happy relationships would also be very small. In reality, lots of people find happy relationships within a small circle of aquaintances. The key is realistic expectations. If you believe your soul mate looks like Brad Pitt, is independently wealthy, and works as a doctor for underpriviledged kids, then you will be lonely for a very very long time. Be realistic, know what qualities you most desire in a mate, and you have a good chance of finding someone who possesses your top few qualities.

You can find your soul mate and have love at first sight and be in love for life. Sometimes you don't always end up marrying your soul mate. Im happily married with someone else though. I wish you luck in life!

Usually when people refer to love at first sight it is in hindsight that they do so. Time is a funny thing when looking back on your life. What seems like an instant in time is actually a progression of experiences in a person's life that takes place over a longer period of time. I met my wife back in high school and it seemed that we fell in love at first sight. I had an attraction to her when she was dating a friend of mine. We were all friends and hung out together. After they broke up, I asked her out and I think we fell in love very quickly. I always refer to our meeting as love at first sight, but really we fell in love with each other as we got to know each other.

As far as I'm concerned we are soulmates.

not so much love at first sight, lust at first sight, its not till you actually communicate and you exchange smiles and conversation and that first kiss, then it becomes love! Yes I believe you can have 1 soul mate and be happy with lots of work, patience, understanding, love and humor too!

No. Love at first sight is not possible. Love takes trust, and you cant trust someone just by looking at them for the first time.

No. I don't think everyone has a "soulmate". I think different people are compatiable with each other, and I think the whole purpose of the marriage thing is continuation of the species, not lifelong co-habitation.

I believe its more than Lust...I just met a guy almost a week and a half ago and we just "connect" its funny and a great feeling! I am 29 and had my share of guys and he's "the one" that I feel......in heaven with....he does all the right things and say all the right things.....everything I want in a man....he has it....I want to be with him all the time but its not really love its lust.....

But I do also say in my mind hes my "soulmate"...I never believed in that but now I do.......its an amazing feeling and you will just know it.......its wonderful!! I am getting all getty just thinking about it......
