Honestly, I think you are right. But I think they will lead the revolution to direct download. HD and Bluray and just intermediate steps to the enviable.

Since HD DVD was chosen as the format for pornography the future looks grim for Blu-Ray.
The PS3 will keep them afloat for awhile but porn grosses more annually than the entire Hollywood movie industry.

Yes - whichever format that industry decides to make standard will become the standard everywhere else.

i dont think it matters to the, they still with make 40 bucks a pop on a dvd......
