No, it does not necessarily mean you are thinking of someone else; it is a way of blocking out everything else and concentrating on the kiss, and an instinctive attempt at privacy.
Not everyone will close their eyes, some people never do, so do on occasion-and it is nothing to obsess over.
best,

I don't think it is because you are thinking of someone else, it might be because you are just really into the kiss and it is kinda like a dream or something. I think it is more romantic since you can't look into their eyes to close my eyes and picture their face.

To ease the tension between you and the other person. It's kinda weird smooshing your face with someone elses. But then it becomes habit and when you kiss you close your eyes out of reflex. This also lends itself to visualizing and heightening arousal. Also with your eyes closed you are able to concentrate more on your other senses which in turn heightens your arousal as your smooch fest progresses.

People close their eyes because not only is it a habit we pick up from seeing other people kiss, but because a kiss is meant to be the sensation of touch. When you kiss someone it isn't to see what it looks like, but to feel what it feels like. And it looks wierd when you're that close to one another.

It helps you concentrate just on the kiss, closing out all other distractions, allowing you to enjoy every second of it. Plus, it keeps you from going all cross-eyed from being so close and looking at each other! Cross-eyes - not sexy.

Hahaha.....good question. I think it's because we are the moment. Closing you eyes takes your mind off everything else thats around you and you just think about the emotions of kissing that person.

no but when you are that close and you kiss with your eyes open it feels very weird to you both. If you want to know why kiss your boyfriend with your eyes open. He will be able to tell and you will just feel weird doing it.

Nah, the other person's face is just too close to see and you can't focus. It's just shutting out one set of sensory input (sight) so that you can focus and emphasize the other set of input (touch). It's the same way a person may close their eyes when they are straining to hear a soft or distant sound.

If it fairly is nearly a rapid one, no. I mean if it i flow to artwork and that i supply my fiance a kiss, I probable wouldnt. yet whilst it fairly is like making out then I generally do. I dont comprehend why, i assume it fairly is extremely creepy looking into someones eyes once you're making out with them.

closing your eyes increases awareness of the other senses, since the brain does not have to process visual stimuli. It works both ways too...when you are at the dentist, keep your eyes OPEN and it will help lessen any pain. :o)
